Long JGBs better behaved despite weak yen
Although the yen remains weak, long-end JGBs have been better behaved than in the past. The weak yen had been feared to spook long-dated JGBs and, through global sovereign debt markets, long-dated Treasuries; that risk is now less acute and is a positive development.
